Do not put the following items in wheelie bins:

  • Petrol, diesel or other fuels
  • Paints and paint thinners
  • Solvents and household chemicals (including wood preservatives, degreasers)
  • Asbestos or materials that may contain asbestos
  • Pesticides, herbicides and other agricultural chemicals
  • Clinical/medical waste and sharps (needles)
  • Explosives, ammunition, fireworks

How it works:
